In the past, the role of a professionally trained engineer was not always recognized as essential. Companies often relied on on-the-job training, hiring individuals with raw talent and teaching them the technical skills required over time. Those fortunate enough to work under skilled mentors thrived, developing into exceptional engineers and innovators. However, many struggled to acquire the depth of knowledge and problem-solving skills necessary to excel in an increasingly competitive technological landscape.
As industries advanced and technology evolved at an unprecedented pace, organizations realized they could no longer rely solely on experiential learning. There arose a pressing need for engineers who are not only technically proficient but also creative, adaptable, and capable of addressing complex challenges from day one. This necessity gave rise to professionally designed engineering undergraduate programs.
TT Metro Campus offers a wide range of academic pathways under the Faculty of Engineering, designed to support students at every stage of their educational and professional journey. The Faculty provides Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Top-Up, and Degree programs, enabling learners to progress seamlessly from foundational knowledge to advanced professional qualifications.
Diploma programs are structured to build strong fundamentals in engineering through practical, skill-oriented learning. These programs are ideal for students seeking early entry into the engineering sector with hands-on experience and industry-relevant competencies.

I am delighted to welcome you to the Faculty of Engineering at TT Metro Campus. As a centre of excellence in engineering education, we are committed to delivering high-quality academic programs and producing highly skilled, industry-ready engineers.
Supported by a diverse and dynamic student community, along with a team of enthusiastic and dedicated academic and non-academic staff, the Faculty of Engineering continues to grow stronger each year. Our academic pathways—Diploma, HND, Top-Up, and Degree programs—are designed to meet the evolving demands of the global engineering and construction industries. We offer specialized programs in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying (QS), AutoCAD & MEP Construction Technology, and Revit Architecture.
