

Under the full sponsorship of Apax Campus-Language and Vocational Training Center in collaboration with the Industrial Development Board, Batticaloa honored 250 students from the Eastern Province who completed the vocational training courses and awarded them certificates at the Devanayakam Hall, Batticaloa.
The Chairman of Sri Lanka Industrial Development Board Dr. Saranga Alahapperuma participated as the Chief Guest and honored the students by awarding certificates. Also as guests of honor were Senior DIG of Eastern Province, Ajith Rohana sir, Former Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University Prof. Thangamuthu Jayasingham, Director of Education of Eastern Province Ms. Sujatha Kulendrakumar, Chief Consultant of ‘Eastern Tour Hub’ program, Mohan Kanapathipillai, Batticaloa District Director of Industrial Development Board Athula Dissanayake, Chairman of Apax Campus MS. Jeslin Rishad, Academic Affairs Consulting Director ARM. Sarjoon, EPO wa IDP-Batticaloa Branch Officer N. Kokulathas, Dr. Kalaranjani, Director and several dignitaries including Additional GA and Divisional Secretaries were present at this ceremony.
These certificates were awarded to nationally accomplished professionals, teachers, Hospitality and Tourism trainees & Pastry and Bakery Management trainees. Also, 20 business entrepreneurs in the “Eastern Tour Hub” project, which was created based on more than 200 young men and women from the Eastern Province, were selected and honored with certificates.
